STORY

Rich Corbo—proprietor and lead mechanic of Home Arcade Repairs, which was established in 2009—began his fascination with arcade games in the early 1980s—right at the height of the local arcade boom.  His obsession with arcade repairs led him to manage the Fun ‘n’ Games arcade at the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ.   It was during this period that he perfected his skills in arcade game repairs and developed a keen attention to detail along the way.  Due to the limited availability of spare parts in that location, he further enhanced his skills to include fabrication and circuit board repair.  His ability to think outside the box—as well as critical thinking skills that are fundamental to proper troubleshooting of arcade games—allowed him to advance his career into the support and service of pinball machines and arcade games at Classic Pinball Corporation in Woodland Park, NJ.  Today, he services the games at the Game Vault in Morristown, and as he enters his third decade of doing home repairs, he brings his 35 years of experience fixing video arcade and pinball machines to you.

"Rich was great... professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!"

"Rich has helped me out for years. Any board problems, and he is your guy. His years of experience allow him to diagnose and repair games that would take me weeks to troubleshoot. He also converted my arcade game to a multigame and probably could have done it with his eyes closed. I can't recommend him enough.++."

"Finally finished cleaning up my Dad's arcade games from 1978 and having them professionally restored. They make an awesome addition to the Man Cave. I have a lot of fond memories with these machines as a kid, and I think my dad would be really happy to see them all cleaned up, working, and being played again.  Shout out to Rich from Home Arcade Repairs for all your great work."

"My MegaTouch arcade game was toast.  I thought it was trashed.  Rich from Home Arcade Repair brought my game back to life after 10 years of accumulating of dust.  I can't stop playing the game."

"I purchased an Arcade Legends on Craigslist.  The game worked ok when I picked it up but would not power up after the move. Rich Corbo from Home Arcade Repair quickly figured out the issue and fixed it.  I know who to call if I have a problem again."
